He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Donaldson R. N.; and his brother Ross Donaldson (Carol). He is survived by: his child Laurie Donaldson; his pet Petra; his siblings-in-law, Noel Davis (Denise) and Judy Jelly (Carman); and his nieces and nephews, Kim Austin (David), Kevin Donaldson (Cara), Brian Jelly (Donna) and Steven Jelly (Kim). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Leeds and Grenville SPCA or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
