He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Whiteland and John Whiteland; his wife Gloria Jean; his children, Terry (Aimee), Darren Cary (Janice) and Daryl (Christina); his grandchildren, Jordan, Michael, Christie, Jackson, Abigail, Drew and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Marlo and Myles; and his sisters, Donna and Heather.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ritchie (Marguerite) and Vicki Corfe (Chris). He is also survived by his family and his many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gary to the Sherwood Park Manor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
