He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Nevers (Heaslip); his siblings, Doris Kierstead, Donald Nevers (Velma), Miriam Hanson (Bill) and Barbara Nevers; and his son-in-law Felix Redka.
He is survived by: his child Laurie Redka Bramer (Mark); his grandchildren, Adrienne Redka, Evan Redka (Rebecca) and Alana Redka; and his great grandchild Max.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highway Pentecostal Church (800 Stewart Blvd, Brockville, ON K6V7H2). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Union Cemetery (482 Union Rd, Leeds and the Thousand Islands, ON K0E1L0).
