It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Herke Raukema (Brockville, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 92, on September 24, 2020. He was predeceased by : his spouse Jantje Raukema; and his siblings, Elizabeth Walma and Sybe. He is survived by : his children, Anna Barrett (Richard) of Calgary, Klaas (Charlene) of Airdrie, Theodore of Calgary, David (Sheila) of Calgary, John (Crystal) of North Gower and Elizabeth Hamelin (Mark) of Brockville; and his sibling Pietje Hoekstra of Holland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The service can be viewed online via Our Hope Facebook page @ 5 p. m. Due to coronavirus restrictions the interment will be a private family function.
