He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Ernst; his mother-in-law Arlene; and his sister-in-law Victoria Langdon. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Dawn Ernst (Kirkey); his mother Marie-Louise Ernst; his children, Brendon Ernst and Nicole Pierce; his stepchildren, Raymond Foster (Rebecca) and Amanda Foster (Steve); his siblings, George Ernst (Darlene), Guy Ernst (Rollande) and Marie Hassing (Terry); his pet Rosco; and his close friend Amber.
