She was predeceased by: her son Billy; her parents, Herman Bax and Sibrigie Bax; and her siblings, Annie Wolst Thona Terpstra (late Theo), Gerdina Vanmeurs (Henk), Jake Bax (Ute) and Bob Bax (late Greet).

She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughters, Sue (Dave Thompson) and Robin (Francesca Vivona); her sisters, Corrie Kronemeyer (late John) and Maria Bax; her siblings-in-law, Sherry Meilleur (late John), Jane Laflair (late Frank) and Tom Runciman (Kristina); her grandchildren, Iylish Flikweert, Cassandra and Nick Thompson; and her pets, Killer, Hissy and Whitey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church and/or the Leeds and Grenville OSPCA.
