He made a huge impression on me as an instructor, and his passion for history was infectious. But he wasn’t just a teacher; he encouraged you no matter what you did. I appeared on stage with him at the Brockville Operatic Society, and despite being busy with his day job he even appeared in a short play I directed for school. I can’t stress how important his generosity was to me in particular, especially at a difficult time in my life. May his light burn long, and his memory never be forgotten.”
