He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Avery; his parents, James and Ethel; and his siblings, Willard, Marion Churchill, Jack, Agnes Stiller, Dave, Effie Buchanan, Charlie, Ora Paul and James.

He is survived by: his spouse Peg (Ennis); his children, Grant and Blair (Hillary); his grandchildren, David, Georgia, Harrison and Samuel; and his sister Betty Closs.
