He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Judy MacNeil; his grandchildren, Iain, Alec, Jocelyn, Aaron, Reid, Bryce, Quinlan, Joshua (Abby) and Joel (Anna); and his siblings, Carolyn Allen and Gordon MacNeil.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to causes close to his heart, Samaritan's Purse, Salvation Army, or St. Paul's Anglican Church in Brockville.
