He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford Halfpenny and Vera; his siblings, Gerald, Donald, William, June Mielke, Shirley Buffett and Marilyn Taylor (Rice); and also, James and Cecelia Lynch.

He is survived by : his wife Anne-Marie Halfpenny (Lynch); his daughter Kristina Halfpenny; his granddaughter Taylor Sacrey; his great grandchildren, Mila, Sofia, Babi and Bridger; his granddaughter Cassandra Halfpenny; his son Michael Halfpenny (Tegen); his grandchildren, Emilia and Henry; his siblings, Wayne Halfpenny (Fran) of Mallorytown, Betty Winford of Toronto, Carol Rooney of Mississauga, Gail Jodoin (Doug) of Belleville and Sandra Anderson (Robert) of Brockville; and also Toni Mihalik (Ron) of Brownville Jct. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Kevin to Diabetes Canada or to the Ottawa Heart Institute and will be greatly appreciated by the family.
