He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Catchpaugh and Percy Catchpaugh; his son Jason Rupert; his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Doris; and his nephew Philip.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his daughters, Christina (John Lenihan) and Wanda (John Hanna); his nephews, Dalton Catchpaugh and Trevor Catchpaugh; and his niece Donna Langlois.
