She was predeceased by : her spouse Gerry Throop; her brothers, Bud, Herbert, Bruce and George St. John; and her parents, Paul St and Irene St (Vogan).

She is survived by : her sons, Wayne Throop (Michelle) of Kanata and Steven Throop (Caroline) of Brockville; her grandchildren, Carley, Jacob, Joshua, Jordan and Ella; and her siblings-in-law, Noreen St. John, Muriel Merkley and Keith Throop (Dorothy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In memory of Lorraine donations to the Victoria United Church in Maynard, Canadian Cancer Society or Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated by the family.
