She was predeceased by: her husbands, Benedict Leeder and William Erwin; her parents, Clarence Sheppard and Helen Sheppard (Burns); and her brothers, Roy Sheppard (Doddie) and Brian.

She is survived by: her children, Bernadine Bakker (Arie), Maureen Warner (late Brian), Gerard Leeder, Anthony Leeder (Ruth), Elaine Carley (Robert), Christine Schroeder (Steve), Colleen Leeder (Michael) and Marie Leeder (Victor); and her siblings, Paul Sheppard (Madeline), Joan Zwarich (Chuck), Eileen White, Anne Johnson (Bob), Linda, Bob and David (Louise). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In memory of Mary, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
