It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Micheal Phelan of Brockville, Ontario, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Micheal Phelan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilfred and Leone Running Phelan; his in-laws, Rodolph and Francoise Dubeau; and his aunts, Myrtle McNish Dunn (Les) and Alma Leng (Jack).
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Phelan, Norman MacDonald, John Phelan, Tracy MacDonald (Troy), Jennifer Atyeo (Chris) and Julie Racine (Marc); his grandchildren, Kyleigh, Jack, Jessica, Karen Lee, Krystal, Jacob, Anna, Nick, Zoë, Emily, Elisha, Michael, Michaella, Ashley, Ashton, Cameron and Nicolas; his sister Kathy Trickey (Jimmie); and his wife Annette. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home - Brockville (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
