He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his parents, Clifford and Mildred; and his siblings, Melba, Ella, Helen, Albert, Bud and Burton.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Rod; his grandchildren, Andrew (Becca), Brendan (Laura), Robert (Sabrina) and Alison (Scott); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Madeline, Jillian Jo, Sam, Elsie, Tessa, Hugh, Rory and Emma; his sister Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, Linda and John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Irvine Funeral Home (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96 (180 Park St, Brockville, ON K6V2H5). He navigated the branch thru Covid and organized meals to be delivered to shut-ins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96 General Fund will be appreciated.
