He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goodfellow and Francis Goodfellow; and his brother Jack Goodfellow. He is survived by: his wife Simone; his children, Richard Goodfellow (Lisa) and Deborah Coligan (Mike); his grandchildren, Kristen Coligan (Derrick), Justin and Adam Goodfellow; his great grandchild Leo; and his sister Donna Marie Deir.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2).
In memory of Richard, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
