He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tapping and Alberta Tapping; his sister Frances; and his sister-in-law Eva. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Tapping; his daughters, Michelle Morrow, Deborah Huibers (Perry) and Heather Jones (Brad Bryd); his grandchildren, Erin (Rich), Tiffany, Rachel (Mike) and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, Dakota, Zoe, Selena, Aurora, Alexis, Blakely and Esabella; and his brother Terrance Tapping (Diane).

In memory of Richard, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be gratefully appreciated.
