We announce the death of Robert Baker (Brockville, Ontario), who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 57. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his stepfather W. Robert Wilson; his mother-in-law Jantina Dykstra; and his grandparents, George, Violet Dawson, Percy and Gladys Baker.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret Wilson; his spouse Francie Baker (Woods); his children, Chelsea Greer (Kiel) and Lucas Baker (Joshua); his siblings, Christine Antle (Jim) and Matthew Wilson (Claudia); his stepsiblings, Melissa Hoogenraad (Al) and Jesse Spracklin (Jodie); his brothers-in-law, Jeff Woods and Chris Martin (Joanne); and his close friends, Bailey and Gizmo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario SPCA Leeds Grenville Animal Centre will be gratefully acknowledged.
