He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Ann Rowland; his parents, Claude and Alta; and his siblings, Ernie, Bob, Gerald, Mac and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, Brett Rowland (Maureen) and Tracy Metcalf (John); his grandchildren, Jessica (Dan), Paul (Tahne), Jonathan (Kelly), Nicholas (Alejandra), Jeff (Meagan) and Caity (Annie); and his brother Noel (Anne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
