He was predeceased by: his wife Delores. He is survived by: his brother Danny Smith; his son Bill Murphy (Laura); his grandchildren, Rachelle and Char; his daughter Tina Struthers (Les); his grandchildren, Katie and Trevor; his son Kevin Murphy (Cheryl); and his granddaughter Krista.
