She was predeceased by: her son Michael; and her brother Ian Purdon. She is survived by: her husband Allen Freeman (Mike); her sons, Grant (Wendy) of Elgin and Gregory Freeman (Lyne) of Ormstown, P. Q; her siblings, Marion Purdon of Peterborough, Robert Purdon (Sue) of Smiths Falls, Donald Purdon of Edmonton and Catherine Casselman (Allan) of Brighton; and her grandchildren, Jamie (Christine), Victoria (Steve), Brandan (Valentyna), Martin (Bianca), Cynthia, Kyle (Brandy), Travis (Katelyn) and Justin. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home Chapel (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0).
