Velma Marlene Kelsey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Marlene Kelsey in Brockville, Ontario, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Kelsey; her son David; her sisters, Edna Tye, Vera Wilson, Betty Jones, Muriel Rowswell and Phyllis Belshaw; her granddaughter Laura Beth Gooch; her great grandchild Dylan Goedman; her son-in-law Winston Bradley; and her parents, Ivan Jaquith and Florence Jaquith.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Beach (Blair), Jo Anne Seffinga (late Wes), Donna Kelsey, Janet Gooch (Rick) and Kay Bradley. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home Chapel (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0).

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to Olivet Cemetery or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
