He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley Bissonnette (Bridgen); his parents, Oscar Bissonnette and Mary Bissonnette (Deveau); and his siblings, Aime, Gerald, James Bissonnette, Jean Ferguson and Lillian Massey.

He is survived by: his children, Paul Bissonnette of Brockville, Terri Quinn (Wayne) of Dartmouth and Sandra Bradley (Martin) of Brockville; his grandchildren, Katie Quinn (Kyle Chisolm), Mitchell Bradley (Brianna), Sean Quinn, Danielle Astleford (John) and Erin Mercier (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Ivy Chisolm, Maxwell, Paisley Bradley, Alyssa Astleford, Kohen and Mia Mercier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
