William Empey Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Empey of Brockville, Ontario, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Empey; his close friend Betty Ferguson; his parents, William Empey and Dorothy Empey; and his brother Fred Empey.

He is survived by: his children, Dean Empey (Johanne Couture) and Bill Empey (Jackie Northrup); his grandchildren, Deana Empey, Derrick Empey (Kristen) and Emma Empey; his great grandchild Leo Empey; his siblings-in-law, Francine Graves, Beryl Barclay (Herb Weckwerth), Darlyene Sheldrick (Sterling Carson), Janet Lowe (late Ross), Bruce Morrison (Pat) and Jack Morrison; Debbie Empey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leeds and Grenville SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
