He was predeceased by: his brothers, John and Garry MacDonald; and his parents, Margaret MacDoanld and Percy MacDoanld. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his children, Amanda Riemersma (John), Ashley Johnson (John) and Gary MacDonald (Danielle); his grandchildren, Lillian, Tessa, Dominic, Aubrey, Caroline, Vanessa and Brody; and his siblings, Lynn Deir (John) and Laurie Darling (late Larry).
