He was predeceased by: his brothers, Norbert Wisser and Paul Wisser. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Wisser of Brussels, Alfred Mawhinney of Brussels, Helen Crawford, Dale Hilpert of Gorrie, Robert "Bud" Wisser, Tammy Mason of Brussels, Steve Cameron of Listowel, Heather Wisser and Brad Thody of London; and his brothers, Bill Wisser of Goderich and Larry Shaw. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations to Parkwood Hospital, London (St. Joseph's Health Care) would be appreciated.
