He was predeceased by : his siblings, Esther, Thelma, Greta and Warren; and his parents, John and Gertrude.
He is survived by : his wife Irene Bannan; his children, Susan Chase, John Bannan and Shelley Bertram-Fallis (Ross); his granddaughter Jamie Bertram; and his siblings, Wanda Bannan and Jim Bannan (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
