David left this world on August 22, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Bob McLaren. He is survived by: his children, Chris Hastings (Dave) and Scott McLaren (Christine); his daughter-in-law Marlene Johnson; and his grandchildren, Janis (Derek), Carrie (Kyle), Sarah, Ashley (Cody), Monica (Eric), Diane (Jordan) and Grace (Quentin). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
