She is survived by: her husband Neil Chorpitta; her children, Maureen Borghoff (Brian), Kris Borghoff (Tiffany) and Beth Stapleton (Dave); her grandchildren, Sophie, Kasem, Willow, Dayton, Gage, Jasmine, Bennett, Will and Olivia; her siblings, Judy Bruyn and Neil Potter; and her nieces, Lora and Jen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home (134 King St, Burford, ON N0E1A0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Marlene's memory may be made directly to the Sakura House or the Burford Food Bank.
