He was predeceased by : his parents, Waldemar McDonald and June McDonald. He is survived by : his wife Theresa Brenda McDonald; his sons, Travis (Rhonda), Lance (Kelly), Brandon and Sheldon (Melodie); his grandchildren, Brayden, Tristan, Larissa, Tinesha, Aidan, Skiler and Lily; and his siblings, Leah Hewson (Jim) and Lorne McDonald (Sue). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family & friends.
