It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Hird (Burford, Ontario), who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hilton, Howard, Marion, Jack and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife June; his nieces and nephews, Howard (Wendy), Shirley, Susan (Richard), Peter (Gail) and Tammy (Larry); and his family Eleanor (Juan). He is also survived by his many friends, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home (134 King St, Burford, ON N0E1A0). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
