He was predeceased by: his spouse Almajean (AJ); his siblings, Ted, Jack and Barbara; and his parents, Ivy (Edward Sabine) and Alma.

He is survived by: his children, Linda, James Peristy of Burlington, Doug Sabine of Burlington, Jim and Sharon Sabine of Pinehurst; his grandchildren, Matthew Peristy, Lorraine of St Catharines, Adam Peristy of Hamilton, Brian Sabine (Allie) of Moncton, Chris Sabine (Joi) of Toronto and Andrew Sabine (Ploy) of Mississauga; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Dax Peristy and Rain McConnell.
