He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; his parents, Herb Ross and Effie Ross (Duncan); and his sister Marion. He is survived by: his children, Susan (Martin), Linda (Michael), William (Janna) and Peter (late Helen); his grandchildren, Emily, Morgan (Jay) and Isabel (late Thomas); and his extended family, David Stringer (Kate), Helen Menzel (Axel), Samira Taeb (Hesam), Salimeh Miller (Chris), Ky Brooks (Robyn) and Eliot Brooks (Ella).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Brant Street (485 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7R2G5). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind Foundation (https://secure.cnib.ca)(CNIB) would be appreciated by the family.
