It is with sadness that the passing of Elfriede Anna Gillner (Mississauga, Ontario) is shared. Elfriede Anna, born on May 14, 1930, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reimund Hornung and Sophie; her husband Paul; and her child Reinhard (late Laurie Gillner). She is survived by: her siblings, Frieda, Luise, Herta and Martha; and her grandchildren, Scott (Cheryl Gillner), Mark (Lisa Gillner), Kassidy Gillner (Brock) and Alexa Gillner (Ben). She is also survived by her family, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Risen Christ Lutheran Church (4090 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON L4W1M4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Burlington Memorial Gardens (3353 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P0S7).
