She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Wilson and Morley Wilson; her brother Gord Wilson; her parents-in-law, Janet Heslop and Martyn Heslop; and her brother-in-law Bill Heslop.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Heslop; her children, Kristen McDonald (Alain Grandmont) of Burlington and Mike McDonald (Julie) of Stoney Creek; her grandchildren, Brianne, Cassie, Jacob Grandmont, Karlee, Nikki and Ryan McDonald; and her sister-in-law Linda Wilson of North Bay.
