He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen; his parents, Samuel and Catherine; and his siblings, Robert (Elsie), Evis (Art) and Beverly Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle (Jason), Brian and Shannon (Ian); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Euan, McKinlay and Lachlan. He is also survived by nieces, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON N3R7K8). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (1030 Greenwood Dr, Burlington, ON L7T3P6).
Donations may be made in memory of James to McMaster Children's Hospital or The Brantford Food Bank.
