It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Alexandra Jewell (Burlington, Ontario), who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Nelson and Maud Nelson; her son Paul; and her sister Margaret. She is survived by: her children, David (Marilyn) and Susan (Bruce); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Perry), Spencer (Kami), Katia (Ara), Julie (Dan), Pierre, Jill (Chloe) and Paul; her great grandchild Aiden; her niece Sheila (Chris); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew, Jeff, Doug, Carly, Sarah and Andrea; and her brother Vernon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Port Nelson United Church (3132 South Dr, Burlington, ON L7N1H7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jean Jewell Memorial Fund at Port Nelson United Church.
