With sadness, we share the passing of John Howard Gibson (Burlington, Ontario). John Howard, born on August 9, 1936 in Toronto, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janet; his parents, John Gibson and Violet Gibson; and his sister Joy Woods (Bert). He is survived by: his children, Andrea Parish (Bill), Stephen Gibson (Allison) and Martha Jane Budgell (Dean); his grandchildren, Hudson, Samuel, Justin (Emma), Ava, Logan and Jacob; and his sister Marjorie Cooper (Bill).
A burial was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George's Anglican Church (4691 Palladium Wy, Burlington, ON L7M0W9).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John's memory to Camp Mini-Yo-We (http://www.campminiyowe.com), an organization to which John and his family have shared a longstanding commitment and special connection.
