It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Marie Jorgensen of Burlington, Ontario, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gustav "Ake" Pegert; and her parents, Ove Prohaska and Ella Prohaska. She is survived by: her children, Jesper Jorgensen (Jane) of Kitchener and Pernille Jorgensen (Anthony Raiber) of Oakville; her grandchildren, Sean (Jen), Jakob (Janvi), Mette (Brandon), Jordan (Reean) and Ebbe; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Spencer, Thomas, Phoenix, Benjamin and Josephine.
