Keijo Aspila Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 82, Keijo Aspila of Burlington, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Keijo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Keijo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Hilary; his sons, Christopher (Melissa) and Gregory; his grandchildren, Sophia, Mattias and Simone; and his siblings, Kalevi Aspila and Helen Pasanen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Brant Street (485 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7R2G5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, memorial donations to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
