He is survived by: his wife Inge; his children, Sonja (Michael) and Michael (Erin); his sisters, Hannelore Klimek and Anneliese Haines (Ulli); his nieces and nephews, Oliver, Brian (Shelley), Petra (Ted), Marc (Manuela) and Kersten Annabelle; and also Chloe. He is also survived by family members, life-long friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kurt's name to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Juravinski Hospital/Cancer Centre.
