With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia McLaughlin of Burlington, Ontario, born in Québec, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2025 at the age of 74. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Patricia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Patricia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon (Barry); her sister Colleen (Peter); her sibling's children, Andrea (Jeff) and Kevin (Natalie); and her grandchildren, Shaelyn and Willem.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Brant Street (485 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7R2G5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to: Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice Juravinski Cancer Hospital.
