He was predeceased by : his parents, David Peebles and Diana Peebles; and his brothers, Gordon and Don Peebles. He is survived by : his siblings, Karen, Susan and Jeff; and his friend Tom Eichenbaum. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.

“With deepest sympathies to the Peebles family on the passing of Pete. It was a pleasure serving alongside Pete at the City of Burlington in dealing with the many road use events which took place in the community. He was incredibly dedicated in his role, working with the ever growing list of event applications which needed the use of city streets. He was a hands on guy, a tireless worker and a fun person to be around! I carry many great memories from our days on the events team.”
