He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia; his children, Sherri DiBartolo (Paul) and Ron Hansen (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Larissa (Brendan), Rachele (Michael), Hailey (William), Mitchell (Ashley), Hannah (Philip), Caitlyn (Austin), Laura, Ashley, Avery, Benjamin, Riley, James, Parker and Jack.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burlington - Bay Gardens Cremation, Memorial & Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J3).
