He was predeceased by: his spouse Kim Tyson; and his father Robert Tyson. He is survived by: his mother Carol Tyson; his children, Liz Graham-Clarke (Robert), Leanne Donald (Kyle), Sam Tyson (Lucas), Connor Jensen and Dave Jensen; his grandchildren, John, Jeff, Sabrina, Ava, Leighton and Harper; and his siblings, Mark Tyson (Monica), Kym Tyson (Mark) and Shawn Tyson (Tammy). He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A reception will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burlington - Bay Gardens Cremation, Memorial & Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1).
