She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Summers and Thelma Summers; her brothers, Jerry and Ralph Summers; and her son James Boyd (late Mary).
She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Abbas; her grandson Mitchell Boyd (Breanna Grabowski); her sister Karen Bertrand; and her friends, Jo and John Wagstaff.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Botanical Gardens Rock Garden (1185 York Blvd, Hamilton, ON L0R2H9).
