We announce the death of Vera Sutherland (Burlington, Ontario), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 102. Vera will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David John Forson and Elizabeth Drysdale; her brother David (Sherry); her friend Mary (Francis Murdoch Sutherland); her daughters, Anne (Kelly) and Sheila (Norman); her grandchildren, Christine (Ana), Kerry (Jon), Robyn (Robin), Stephen (Jayell) and Michael (Ashley); her great great grandchildren, Griffin, Frances, Malcolm, Vaughn and Avery; her nephew David Erik (Norma); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lisa (Carey), Lynsey (Steven) and Hayley (Callum).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Parish (4072 New St, Burlington, ON L7L1S9).
