He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Joseph Murphy and Margaret Joan (Hales); his wife Carol (Knill); his children, Theresa McVean, Larry and Tony; his granddaughter Ada McVean; and his siblings, Andy (Sandra), Jerry (Cheryl), Marjorie (Harold McColm) and Pat Picherack. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
