He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Beatrice (Philpot); and his siblings, Fred, Elsie, June, Hazel and Jean.

He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Arnold); his children, Karen Winegard (Ron), Susan Nash (Danny) and Barry Bennett (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Erin, Brandon, Dana, Amber, Kara and Karlyn; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Tyson, Lincoln, Paige, Maggie, Molly, Theo, Ainsley and Greycen; and his siblings, Marion Clements and Roy Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch154 would be appreciated by the family.
