He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; and his parents, James and Phyllis. He is survived by: his children, Chris (Andrea) and Brad (Stacey); his grandchildren, Sydney, Ethan, Tyler, Lucas, Ryan, Caylie, Liam, Owen, Bentley, Aislynn and Evan; his siblings, Kay Curley (late Larry), Don (Jayne), Marlene Hoover (late Bob), Charlene Walsh (late John), Joan Van Groningen (Wayne), Mary Ellen, John (Kym) and Gerry (Lori); and his in-laws, John (Doreen), Jean Fiddament (late Paul), Jim (Marilyn) and Mary Gordon (late Drew). He is also survived by nephews, extended family and friends.
